Sorry for the Out of Sequence Answers!!!!!

Mission 6 – Boston – 1/4/11 8:50am Cyn-ful

It’s no coincidence that I left the fun question for last!!!!! First and foremost, I would let my staff; fellow team members know each and every day that they are valued and cherished. It is my firm belief that any team is only as good as its weakest link and people are at their strongest when they are valued. So I would begin and end each and every day by saying something great and positive about team members.
Second, each week I would make a different staff member responsible for our staff meeting, they could run it in any manner they see fit, as long as it has a positive and upbeat tone. No holds barred!!!! Any subject, any task, any game, the staff member wanted to bring to the table, as long as it stayed within the boundaries of good taste and ethics. Don’t get me wrong…..It would still be the PD’s responsibility to see that all pertinent information is given before the staff meeting is turned over. Finally, I would institute a monthly event, which would involve staff getting to know one another on a more personal level, family barbecues, pot luck dinners, bowling, and any event that would introduce staff to each other on a more personal and outside of work level. It is my consensus that when people get to know the whole package, and see the reason why we all do what we do; we become more invested in each other and in each other’s successes.

  1. I agree with Cyndy, I would love to have a question of the day and a funny joke to help with VIPS and other customers. I would even invest in a career joke book.
